guess what we did!!!!

guess what.
i got to go to flyball last sunday for the first time in forever. it was so exciting to be back.
missy, meadow and muskats mum got excited that we were back too. she was so happy that she took a picture straight away.
i thought it was funny. but i like pictures. i think they are fun.

anyway, when we went out and i did my overs, i wanted to show everyone how well i had been practicing. and i did my overs perfectly.
but wait. it gets better.
i did almost all of my full runs perfectly. we worked out that if digger and sophies mum stands behind the bo and calls me, i don't have a brain fart and forget where to run. the only problem was when she didn't stop calling me at the last over, and i forgot and tried to climb the box to get to her. it was a bit embarassing. but not to bad.
and guess what also. my brother did his full runs aswell.

sadly, my great grandma is not very well, and mum is going to visit her at easter time. this means that we don't get to go to the easter show this year. i was excited about it, but somethings are just important. even more than flyball.

we are going to "kamden" though, i think thats what they called it. and that is in two weeks. this will be my brothers first real competition. hopefully we will both get our letters for our names. then we can say that we are real flyball dogs. it wouldn't really change anything, but it is still kinda cool.

i have to go now because mum got home from working and looks like she needs a good lick in the face.

bye.

a big worry

on thursday, mum's friend Sam's dog ran away. they are getting a pool and the big dusty work men left the gate open. and axle ran away. we were all very worried. sam called up my mum to tell her what had happened. they had searched for him for a whole half a day. if i had to do that much walking i would be exhausted. but i guess if my brother went missing i would walk that much to find him.
on friday morning, me and mum went looking for him. we walked up to the big scary vet to tell them that axle was missing. then we walked all the way back. when we got home mum called sam to find out if axle had been found. and guess what. he was brought back on thursday night. i was so happy to hear that. apparently we walked all the way to "dullitch hill", because we wanted to get some ham from the shop that he likes. it was very silly of him and i hope he knows it. i hope his sister Lolly gave him a good talking to. thats what i do to my brother when he runs away.

on saturday my flyball friends went to do flyball in a big scary competition, but we didn't go. mum had to work and she also said that i needed a bit more practice before she spends her pocket money on a comp again. i hope my psycho friends had fun at the comp.

my next real comp will be at the easter show, which is in march. that means that i have about 8 weeks to practice. i just have to remember that even though my squeaky is with mum, i need to go and get the ball and trade it with her before i get it. it's hard to remember. especially with all the noise and dogs barking and everything. we have a practice just for fun competition before the easter show. so hopefully i can be all ready by then.
also guess what. my brother beau is coming to the easter show as well. he is so fast. he doesn't worry about going away from mum to get the ball, he just forgets to bring it back sometimes.

lots of noise and bikes and everything

hi again.

this week was alot about bikes. on thursday, grandad took my mum up to the shops, and she bought us A TRAILER!!! it is so exciting. mum used to ride her bike with me in a bag on her back, but when we got beau we couldn't do that safely. we couldn't go to the park unless grandma or grandpa took us in the car. the trailer will be so cool. but it was made for babies, not big doggies like us, so mum had to put in a new floor etc.
on friday, mum took us for a walk into the shops area of ashfield with sam to take her bike to be fixed. i was a little scared of all the noise again, but after a while i got heaps better at being a brave little girl. i couldn't get my tail to wag, but it wasn't in between my legs anymore. which was good.
on monday, mum took grandpa's bike up to be fixed. he is doing alot of exercise, and i've noticed that there is a bit less of him. which apparently is a good thing because there is a bit to much of him. later on on monday, mum got a call saying that he bike was fixed. so again she went up to the bike shop. he bike "actually changed gears properly now". gears are i think the things which make funny noises on the big wheels.
on tuesday, mum and grandma went up the the hardware shop to get some things for our trailer. i'm not allowed in the hardware shop because mum says that i mught cut my feet or get squashed by something heavy. mum came home with a big piece of wood about 10 times the size of me, a piece of flat string with a buckle, some funny looking nail things, and a bag with some new 'chizzels' in it.
wednesday was very loud. as soon as it wasn't to early, mum started making alot of noise in the backyard. she was hitting the chizzels into the big piece of wood until it made some rectangles in it. and she sawed and she chizzeled, until... she had made a new floor. it fitted perfectly. the rectangles arn't finished yet though. they need to be a little bit bigger.
mum also has to fiz the fence at the front or the house, because my brother keeps trying to go running when he is not allowed to. i bark at him and tell him not to, but he does it anyway. sometimes i wonder if boys actually have brains at all.

anyway, i have to go because mum isn't making noise anymore and needs a good snuggle.

see ya.

long time no see.

hi everybody.
sorry i havn't written in a long time. my mum was in germany and i don't know how to turn the computer on on my own.

alot has been happening since i last wrote.
i went to another competition. it was the twilight comp. it started in the middle of the day, then went till very very late at night.
i said to myself, this time i am going to get it right. but when i got there, i just completely forgot what i was supposed to do, and didn't leave my mum to go and get the ball. my friend ebbi had a talk to me and said that i am not allowed to give up. she said that that very day, marked the two year mark of her being a psycho, and that even though it may take ages to get it right, that it will happen, and that i'm not allowed to give up. i reckon, if ebbi didn't give up, then i'm not going to either.

i really missed my mum while she was away. the family went on a holiday, and when they got back, i looked and looked for mum, but she just wasn't there.

when mum got home, i could hardly believe my eyes. she was back. me and my brother were so happy that we didn't run up and down the hallway going crazy. we just sat on her and licked her face and snuggled, wagging our tails until we could wag no more.

something very exciting came when mum got back.
mum bought a trailer to go behind her bike wheel machine that she calls a byk, so that she can take me and beau to the park and to flyball, even she grandma and grandpa can't drive us in the car. she still has to make it it doggy friendly and get the things for stopping fixed on her byk before we can go anywhere. but it is so exciting.

i can't wait to go for a ride in it.

go team psycho

on sunday i was a very very good girl at flyball.
i did heaps of full runs and i even did one with my team. and i did it properly too.
after a while though i got a bit tired and it got hard to listen to my mum when she said things.
i got to show off my new harness though. i reckon i looked very spiffy, like a real flyball dog with letters.

my mate jack did some full runs aswell. i am very proud of him. but jack somehow managed to go all the way to a full run ithout doing his big overs over all the 8 jumps. so he is learning that now.

beau is getting good at catching the ball straight out of the box. but he got a bit tired yesterday and kept getting distracted. he is getting good though.

and lucy, wow. lucy is a different dog that she was when i first met her. before she was scared all the time, barked at people is you came near her, and she would run and hide if anything went past quickly. now she is really happy to be at flyball. her tail is wagging and everything.

i can't wait to have another go at fulls runs at a comp. only 18 days left!!!!

wow what a week.

i have had a big week this week. firstly last sunday, we said good bye to my mate mocha and his mum susan. we are all going to miss you very very very much. it's going to be alot quieter without mocha, and with him gone the average dog height has gone up alot, which makes me look even shorter. i really hope they both come back and visit.

next, on monday, mum went away to music camp. she packed up some clothes, her sleeping bag, and her trumpet, which i love singing to alot. i wonder if all the people at music camp like singing to it as much as i do.

anyway, mum was away for 4 whole days and three whole nights. i missed her sooooo much that i didn't feel hungry for 2 days. than i remembered that she was coming back soon and i ate my dinner all up.

while mum was gone, a package arrived. i didn't know what was in it. and i really really wanted to know. packages are exciting.
anyway, when mum got back and opened the package, it had two, brand spanking new, bright purple, FLYBALL HARNESS'.
they are so cool and they arn't big and bulky like my "in the car" harness. they fit me so well and it makes my look really really REALLY fast, like the really good flyball dogs.
there was one for me and one for my brother. the nice lady who made them for us even put my letters on it. C. O. C. O. and my brothers letters aswell. B. E. A. U. she did that so that mum could tell which one is which. i think they are so cool and i can't wait to show everyone at flyball.

but i'm going to have to wait another week.
my flyball friends are at a competition this week in canberra i think. it was too far for us to go aswell and plus some of mine and mums people friends are getting confirmed this weekend (which is saying that you love god in front of a whole lot of people) which is a very big thing and mum wants to be there to support them on their big day.even though i didn't get to go to the competition this weekend, i am going to get to go to one really soon. and ithink that this time i will remember what to do. my friend ebby's mum gave my mum a great piece of advice. and then my mum worked out how to get me to concentrate really really well. she got my squeaky.
i love playing with my squeaky. i only get to play with my squeaky when i am a good girl and concentrate realy really hard. it's so much easier not to get distracted from my "over over over overs" and my "get the ball" when i have my squeaky to keep me focussed. maybe this time i'll get some points, or maybe even some letters to add to my name. mum says that the letters don't make alot of difference and that she loves me even if i never get any letters at all, but the letters mean that you have ben a very gpood girl and did the whole flyball perfectly in front of a whole lot of people. the letters just count how many times you have done that.

anyway, i have to go now. mum is home from work and needs a snuggle.

bye bye.

not again

i didn't get to go to flyball again today because my mum got very very sick. (atleast she didn't have to go to hospital like my friend alex who is lots better now yay!!!)
she wasn't allowed to eat or drink anything,
me and my brother were looking after her though. everytime she was sick again, we would run up and down the corridor until grandma came and looked after her. grandma said. "wow they actually know that you are sick". a duh. we are crazy not stupid:P :P
even though i missed going to flyball again, i think it's fair enough. mum was really really not up to it. and she said that even if she could go, she would make all my people friends at flyball sick aswell. and that wouldn't be very nice at all.
i hate it when i have to miss flyball. i don't get to see all my friends get better and idon't get to say hooray when they do something geat. like my mate jack did his first full run. and i didn't know about it until my mate ebbi told me about it. but it's not the end of the world.

when she was feeling better, my mum made a flyball box. well........ not really a flyball box. it is an old chair put on the ground upside down with a piece of wood on it. but i can still go round and get the balll on it. she is going to us it for practise and for when we cant go to flyball with my friends.

i think it was a bit funny that alot of my friends who couldn't go to the "boorowa" (i'm not very good at spelling) comp and play docters and nurses in the parade, got to play real doctors and nurses. like when me and beau had to snuggle my mum and get gandma when she got sick, and my friends ebbi, molly and big connor had to play doctors and nurses when they went to the REAL hospital to visit alex and her sick eye. atleast everyone is feeling better now.

anyway,
there is a bug in the orner and well, duty calls.
